Professional qualifications

Dr Jessica Guo first received her Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Medicine (6-year course) from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM) in China in 1992. There she was equipped with a solid foundation of knowledge in Chinese medicine and conventional medicine.
Jessica enrolled in RMIT University in Melbourne in 2003, and engaged in her research on “The effect of electro-acupuncture on reducing Opioid consumption in patients with chronic pain”. She was awarded the Australian Postgraduate Awards funded by the Commonwealth Government for annual stipend in 2003 and 2004. Her study was also supported by the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association.
She was awarded a Master's Degree in 2006.

Practice accreditation
Jessica has been registered by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia since 2012 as an acupuncturist and Chinese herbal medicine practitioner.
Jessica was a Chinese medicine doctor at the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has been practising acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Australia since 2002.
